‘ADJUSTMENT’, BY IAN MACKINNON (UK), WIN IN THE 6TH INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL ‘ALMERÍA EN CORTO’

Spectators have chosen their favorite short film: ‘Tango Argentini’ (Belgium)
Adjustment, by Ian Mackinnon (Bristol, United Kingdom), has got the First Award in the 6th International Festival ‘Almería en Corto’ (endowed with 18.000 Euros). The Second Award (10.000 Euros) has gone to Radu Jude's short Lampa cu caciula (The TV with hat), from Romania. The public has chosen their favorite short: a modern fairy-tale called Tangui argentini, by Belgian Guido Thys (this Public Award is endowed with 5.000 Euros).Every year, International Festival ‘Almería en corto’ gives a Western Award to the best national production, to shoot a Western short-film. This year, the winner has been Contracuerpo (Spain), produced by Pepe Jordana (Prosopopeya Producciones).
Another awards have been: RTVA Award to Mi tío Paco, by Tacho González, from Spain (3.000 Euros); Best Photography to Elena quiere, by Lino Escalera, from Spain (2.000 Euros); Best Actor/Actress to Marta Belenguer, Best Short Film Actress Elena quiere (2.000 Euros). And Best Script to Rachel (France), 2.000 Euros.
Finally, there are two Special Mentions to Il Neige a Marrakech (It is snowing in Marrakech) and to Eut-elle ete criminelle (Althougth she would have been a criminal), (France).
